The new Thurgoona Skatepark, situated in the northern suburbs of Albury, is a state-of-the-art skate facility that has quickly become a hotspot for skateboarders, scooter riders, and BMXers in the region. This modern skatepark features an innovative design with a combination of hips, a spine, a mini ramp and several pockets. Its smooth concrete surface and well-designed bowl offer riders endless lines to navigate and a challenging experience, attracting both beginners and seasoned skaters alike. With its 4 ft quarters and 5 ft extensions, the bowl offers mellow transitions making it appeal to all abilities. 

There is also a new pump track next to the skatepark with a tar surface and plenty of humps and bumps to keep you rolling. 

Kenilworth Skatepark, nestled in the charming town of Kenilworth, Queensland, is a delightful haven for skateboarders, scooter rollers and BMX riders alike. This well-maintained park boasts a diverse range of transitions, including quarter pipes, ramps, a spine, bump, bank and more, catering to riders that enjoy their transition skating. Surrounded by the scenic beauty of the Queensland countryside, Kenilworth Skatepark provides a picturesque setting for riders to enjoy their favourite sport while also offering a welcoming and vibrant community atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

The skatepark is for the most part protected by a shade sail. The skatepark can be found on the showgrounds that doubles up as a popular camp site when the show isn’t in town. 

Located as the namesake would presume in Leslie Park, Queensland the Leslie Park Skate Park is a concrete slab with a 3 ft steel mini ramp, a couple of quarter ramps, a ledge, a rail, a euro and a couple of additional DIY features. 

The skatepark is lame, we suggest searing for a better skatepark in Brisbane to skate. 

Marulan Skatepark, located in New South Wales, is a disused old skatepark designed way back when they had no idea how to design a skatepark. The park features a gnarley concrete bowl with a single ledge and rail. The bowl must be one of the gnarliest, tightest transitions on the east coast of Australia. The bowl looks more like a traditional pool, rather than the inspired mellow bowls that you will find at any modern skatepark. With its hectic design, graffitied surface, and gnarly tight transitions Marulan Skatepark offers an experience that might take you straight to the emergency ward.

The park’s picturesque surroundings and the reality that you will almost always get this park to yourself make it worthwhile to add to the Skater Maps database.

If the council wanted to make the skate bowl even less attractive than it already looks, they could clean out all the rubbish and debris in the skatepark so we can actually skat it. 

The Tangambalanga Bowl is a renowned skatepark located in the picturesque town of Tangambalanga in Victoria, Australia. Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Kiewa Valley, the concrete skate bowl next to the footy field takes the cake if you are a skater and looking for a skate spot in town. By far the best skatepark in town. The Tangambalanga Bowl offers a mesmerizing panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery, making it a popular spot for country skateboarders.

The concrete skate bowl is rectangular shaped and features an extension on one corner. The concrete is smooth and the bowl features the steel coping we have come to love. 

A visit to Tangambalanga Bowl promises an unforgettable experience in the heart of Victoria’s scenic countryside. No guarantees you will like the skatepark, but the town is beautiful. If you are planning to roll into Tangambalanga and skate, we highly encourage bringing a brush and dustpan to sweet up the chalkies in the bottom of the bowl.

The new Mitchell Avenue Pump Track is a large tar circuit with banked turns, humps, bumps and several different courses to choose from. Much like all of the other equivalent tar pump tracks that are scattered across Australia, Mitchell Avenue Pump Track offers a similar experience and is worth pumping around. 

If you are in the area, we recommend checking out the new Mitchell Avenue Skatepark which is located next to the pump track. 

Jindalee Skate Park, situated in Brisbane’s western burbs, is a popular and well-loved destination for skateboarders, rollerbladers, and BMX riders. The skate park boasts a diverse range of features, including ramps, rails, ledges, many pads, mini ramps, slappy curbs, and banks, catering to riders of all skill levels. Its smooth concrete surface offers an optimal riding experience, allowing enthusiasts to perform tricks and showcase their abilities. With its spacious layout and creative design, Jindalee Skate Park provides ample space for riders to explore and express themselves. The park’s welcoming atmosphere and active community make it a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike, fostering a vibrant and supportive skateboarding culture in the area.

Jindalee Skate Park has had several upgrades over the years and has cemented itself as another good-to-great skatepark in Greater Brisbane.

Baranduda Skatepark, located in northern Victoria, is a medium to average destination for skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts. This ageing skatepark features a well-designed layout with a variety of ramps, bowls, and street-inspired obstacles. The park’s concrete surface offers a relatively smooth ride, allowing riders to roll around and maneuver with ease, besides navigating the odd chalkie of course. Baranduda Skatepark is known for its spaciousness, providing ample room for riders to explore and throw down their tricks. With its tight transitions and steel coping that we love to skate, the skatepark attracts both locals and visitors, creating a thriving hub for action sports in the area.

The bowl features a spine and has had some recent tlc where cracking had previously occurred. A fun bowl with an endless number of lines to navigate. 

Maryland Skatepark, situated near Newcastle, New South Wales, is a fantastic destination for skateboarders, roller bladers, scooter rollers, and BMX riders. The skatepark boasts a diverse range of features, including ramps, ledges, quarter pipes, a spine, a mini ramp and fun boxes, catering to riders of various skill levels. With ongoing maintenance of the concrete surface and well-designed obstacles, Maryland Skatepark offers an ideal setting for riders to showcase their tricks, improve their abilities, and enjoy the adrenaline-filled sport. The park’s location and facilities make it a popular spot for the local skateboarding community, fostering a vibrant and supportive atmosphere for riders to connect and share their passion for action sports.

For an older skatepark, Maryland’s is worth the roll.
