Geelong Waterfront Skatepark has been the benchmark for skatepark design and architecture. The street style skatepark is also referred to as Waterfront Plaza which is much more fitting considering you won’t find a single transition in the entire park.
Located in the heart of Geelong there was once a bit of controversy around building the skatepark in the pristine waterfront destination location. Ironically Geelong Skatepark regularly appears as the backdrop on many of the Deakin University students Instagram profiles. Potentially a statistical anomaly, or maybe we should give Convic Skateparks a round of applause for creating one of the most aesthetically pleasing skateparks in the country.
Northern Skatepark
Geelong welcomes another new skatepark in Corio. The skatepark consists of a large open bowl with heaps of different sections, hips, bumps, spines, and much more. Super mellow park with heaps of features and obstacles.
Waurn Ponds Skatepark
Waurn Ponds Skatepark was once one of Australia's best skateparks and has managed to stay relevant all these years later thanks to a number of modifications and extensions. The skatepark offers skaters everything from vert to street and everything in-between.
